Let's "Get Out"! Join us as we take a hike through Mouse Creek falls. We'll walk, set intentions, eat lunch and imbibe together in nature.
About this Event
"Get Out" is designed to encourage Black connections to and in nature. Join us for a Sunday morning hike that invites you to recenter as you think about your place in the great outdoors and connect with other Black folks in a beautiful setting. We’ll also be joined by Whiskey & Rosemary who will curate a special beverage you can make at home to bring along for the journey! Check out the details below for items we suggest you bring, trail information and directions. We look forward to sharing space with you!
Cocktail or Mocktail recipes will be sent out after you've RSVP'd.
*Space is limited to keep risks low.*
Packing List:
Hiking backpack
Weather-appropriate clothing (think moisture-wicking and layers)
Hiking boots or shoes (sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty are okay for this trail)
Plenty of food (think items that don’t need refrigeration and can be carried in reusable storage - fruit, sandwich, veggies, hummus, etc)
Plenty of water
Navigation tools such as a map and compass
First-aid kit
Knife or multi-tool
Something to sit on (blanket or towel)
Please Note: Although this trail does not allow pets, travelers have been known to bring along their horses whose waste appears on the path. Keep this in mind when choosing the hiking shoes you’ll wear.
